The parametricing probation of hardness distribution in nitrided layers

Description
Purpose of this work was to use the statistic analysis to estimate the importance of influence of the chemical components on the form of hardness distribution in nitrided layers. The test was with 19 types of alloy steels, whose were toughening before nitriding. The chemical components changed in the limits: C = 0.25 - 0.45%; Mn = 0.25 - 1.30%; Si = 0.20 - 1.30%; Ni = 0.00 - 4.25%; Cr = 0.00 - 13.5%; W = 0.00 - 9.25%; Mo = 0.00 - 9.25%; V = 0.00 - 0.40%. The analyse was concentrated on the estimation of influence the chemical components of steel on the form of hardness distribution in nitrided layers of characteristic parameters. (author)
