Vibrational spectra and effective charges in In2S3, CdIn2S4, AgIn5S8 and CuIn5S8 spinels

Description
Reflection vibration centres of In2S3, CdIn2S4, AgIn5Se and CuIn5S8 crystals are studied within 4000-50cm-1 range. Profiles of reflection spectra are calculated and parameters of phonons as well as, statistic and dynamic dielectric constants (εs and ε↔) are determined. Siggeti efficient charge and ion relative efficient charge in spinels are calculated. Variation of degree of ionic character in crystals with different concentration of anions and cations, is discussed
