Description
The influence of particle-particle interactions on the strength functions of the (n,p) transitions with excited Gamow-Teller states and the β+ decays of neutron-deficit nuclei is studied. It is shown that the inclusion of the p-h and p-p interactions provides a good description of the total GT strength S+ for the (n,p) reaction and of the integral logft GT β+ decays. Additional inclusion of p-p interactions confirmed the earlier conclusion about nonexistence of two-phonon states in deformed nuclei. (author) 3 tabs., 2 figs., 26 refs
