Pulse shape discrimination with proportional counters for neutron detection
Creators

Description
Pulse-height and risetime distributions of signals from proportional counters for neutron detection have been investigated in order to reject undesirable signals. In the present paper we will describe the applications of risetime discrimination for three kinds of proportional counter i.e. a hydrogen-filled proton recoil counter, a 3He-filled counter and a BF3 counter.
