Compilation of the lectures registered by the IRW together with participating institutes for the 1978 reactor conference of the German Atomic Forum e.V./KTG (4 to 7 April 1978, Hanover)
Description
Automatic translation: The registered lectures deal with issues related to the problem area ofHTR reactors. - The first three contributions deal with coated nuclear fuel particles. The development and irradiation testing of burn-up particles is presented here. Since a higher burn-up is achieved than in breeding particles, optimization of this type of particle and knowledge of all interaction mechanisms is important. The investigations of particles in temperature transients that have been ongoing for some time will be dealt with in another contribution. In the third contribution, a characterization method using X-ray fine structure analysis is put up for discussion.
Abstract (German)
Die angemeldeten Vorträge befassen sich mit Fragestellungen aus dem Problemkreis der HTR-Reaktoren. - Die ersten drei Beiträge befassen sich mit beschichteten Kernbrennstoffteilchen. Hierbei wird die Entwicklung und Bestrahlungserprobung von Abbrandpartikeln dargestellt. Da ein höherer Abbrand als in Brutpartikeln erzielt wird, ist eine Optimierung dieses Partikeltyps sowie die Kenntnis aller Wechselwirkungsmechanismen wichtig. Die seit einiger Zeit laufenden Untersuchungen von Partikeln bei Temperaturtransienten werden in einem weiteren Beitrag behandelt. Im dritten Beitrag wird ein Charakterisierungsverfahren mit Hilfe der Röntgenfeinstrukturanalyse zur Diskussion gestellt.Files
