Study of electron-cyclotron emission from plasma in the L-2M stellarator during SHF heating at the second harmonic of the electron cyclotron frequency
Description
Paper presents the results of investigation into plasma at current-free heating in L-2M stellarator where plasma is generated and heated by SHF-waves in 4-mm wave length range corresponding to heat at the second harmonic of the electron-cyclotron frequency. Jails of epithermal electrons (Tr) is shown to result from heating alongside with heating of plasma main component and study of those fails results in asymmetry of cyclotron radiation spectra. Te,r dependencies on plasma density and on heating power are presented. 12 refs.; 6 figs
