Description
The objective of this study was determine total cross sections in resonant, thermal and sub thermal neutron energy range, i.e. from few tens of electron volts to 10-4. First part of this report contains theoretical results which enable obtaining parameters of nuclides resonant level from experimental data. in some cases it is possible to calculate total scattering cross section, coherent and incoherent cross section. Second part covers the description of transmission method for measuring the total cross section
