The presentation Securing Radiation Safety of Man and Environment in the Course of Regulation of Nuclear Legacy by Mikhail Kiselev, deputy head of Russia's Federal Medical Biological Agency, described the regulatory functions of the agency along with its organisational structure and key regulatory documents. The author outlined nuclear legacy challenges in several regions of Russia (South Urals, North West and Stavropol Krai) and presented the work of the agency to secure radiation safety of personnel at nuclear facilities and population through its regulatory function.
