Description

In order to rapidly acquire the correction factors of the temperature and humidity of radon monitors, a method to rapidly revise temperature and humidity effects of continuous radon monitors should be proposed. Firstly, approximate linearization of the moisture ratio of completely saturated vapor at certain temperature and absolute humidity should be made with the correction factors of corresponding temperature and humidity. And then the linear fitting function should be inserted into a novel continuous radon monitor, so the correction factors of temperature and humidity can be obtained by several sets of data. The results of the experiment indicate that when this method is applied under an absolute humidity of 20 gm, the relative deviation between the results of radon measurements and reference value is no more than 5%.
