Description

Liquid-phase radioimmunoassay and solid-phase radioimmunoassay are described using 125I-labelled or immobilized nucleocapsids (NC) of herpes simplex virus (HSV) type1. These techniques appeared sensitive and specific for quantitation of HSV-NC antigens and corresponding antibodies. (author)
