Description
We study collisions of 12C and 197Au projectiles at E(lab)/A(proj) = 30 to 85 MeV/A on 197Au targets, using the 3-dimensional TDHF model. Most of the qualitative phenomena observed experimentally are reproduced by the TDHF calculations. The results are compared with recent data from the 1 GeV12C beam at CERN and show some quantitative deviations from experiment. Possible reasons for these discrepancies ar discussed and give valuable insight into intermediate energy collision processes. (orig.)
