Description

EQE Engineering is currently conducting the Structure Damping Research Program for the US NRC. This program encompasses four tasks: accumulate and evaluate structure damping data; evaluate methods of treating non-proportional damping; assess treatment of energy dissipation in inelastic systems; and investigate the response of a low-rise shear wall structure with respect to damping and stiffness when subjected to earthquake motions. A status report is presented
