Resolutions of problems on ionising radiations - Dosimetry, instrumentation, radiological protection

This book proposes an overview on the state-of-the-art in the field of dose calculations, of ionising radiation metrology, and of radiation protection through the study of problems related to practical applications. More particularly, the chapters address the calculation of radiometric and radiological values (fluence, kerma, dose, and ambient dose equivalent), detection principles and sensor responses for reference physical values and operational dosimetric values, and the calculation of shielding and activation for different types of installations (radioactive sources, X ray generators, accelerators, and so on)
