Initial volatile compounds for preparation of superconducting films by the chemical vapor deposition

Description
Possibility of application of the known classes of volatile compounds of metals to prepare superconducting films of the Y-Ba-Cu-O composition by the method of chemical deposition from a vapor phase is considered. Comparative estimation of alkoxides, β-diketonates and carboxylates of yttrium and alkaline earth metals is carried out on the basis of representations about the effect of a ligand structure on the degree of molecular association of coordinated saturated compounds. Application of metal carboxylates is shown to be perspective besides β-diketonates due to low stability of alkoxides
