On the preparation and some properties of hexaantipyrine dysprosium(3) iodide

Description
The DyI3-AP-H2O system has been studied by the isothermal method at 0 deg C. Formation of the [Dy(AP)6]I3 compound has been established in the system. The conditions for its formation are determined, and some of its properties are examined. The parameters of a lattice are determined: a = 13.349(2)A, α = 62.82(1) deg, Z = 1. The compound, crystallized in a trigonal structure, is isostructural to [Y(AP)6]I3 compound
