The S-matrix and the effective potential for the Liouville quantum field theory
Description
We argue that the S-matrix for the quantum Liouville field theory is unity. We also discuss the effective potential for the Liouville theory defined on a cricle, and we show that the exact result due to Goldstone is recovered in the large volume limit. (orig.)
