Role of a1 meson in the low-energy hadron physics

Description
The description of main decays of light mesons taking into account the a1-π transitions is given in the framework of the quark-virton model. The widths of the main a1(1++) meson decays are calculated. The axial-to-vector form factor ratio γ=fA(0)/fV(0) for the π → evγ decay is calculated. The account of the a1 meson has turned out to produce γ=0.53
