Radiation exposure by Pb-210 and Po-210 in the model of the mining calculation basis
Description
The models contained in the German Calculation Guide Mining overestimate the doses from dust deposition in a significant amount. This makes that even small changes of Pb-210 and Po-210 in dust result in doses exceeding 0.3 mSv/a. In this paper the corresponding model of the Calculation Guide Mining is analyzed regarding the causes of this effect. A proposal for a more realistic approach is presented. (orig.)
