Enhanced E2 transitions between 9- and 8- states in 110Sn and 112Sn

Description
Lifetimes of Jπ=8- and 9- states in 110Sn and 112Sn have been measured. Large B(E2) values of about 170 e2 fm4 have been observed for the 9--8- transitions in both nuclei. The enhanced E2 transitions can be explained as the effect of the generalized-seniority mixing predicted recently by Bonsignori et all. (orig.)
