Absorption in the D and E regions at 2.2 megahertz
Creators
Description
Absorption at 2.2 MHz caused by the D and E regions of the ionosphere over Haringhata (22°54′N, 88°34′E) has been studied. The data suggest that the D region over Haringhata is mainly solar controlled. The average value of the cos χ index of D-region absorption is found to be 1.35. The results are compared with those obtained from other sources.
