Literature review on the action of long-wave electromagnetic radiations in complex macromolecular systems

Description

A medium exposed to radiation from the electromagnetic spectrum is the site of a series of instantaneous or transient physical phenomena, the primary or secondary result of which may be a permanent change in its chemical composition. The various known types of interaction between radiation and matter are briefly reviewed for each wavelength range, and their influence on the final chemical composition of the irradiated medium is considered
