Comment on ''The role of non-equilibrium segregation in impurity segregation in steels''

Description

The kinetics of impurity segregation in alloy steels can be a strong function of the alloy content. The case discussed here is the effect of molybdenum on the segregation of phosphorus, and a point to be made is that in a steel quenched to form martensite the vacancy content of the parent austenite is of little relevance
