Upgraded method of beam formation on the target of isotope complex at inr linac

Description
Optimization of the proton beam parameters at the matching area located just before region of beam extraction to the transportation channel of the isotope complex of INR linac permits to get the controllable transverse beam parameters at the entrance of this channel for further beam dynamics optimization and formation of the desired beam configuration on the isotope target. Using of multiwire profilometer and separated control of the lenses in last quadrupole doublet at the transportation channel enables to form a proton beam on the target in wide range of transverse beam parameters. The simulation and experimental results of beam formation and monitoring on the target are presented
