Gaussian dominance on compact spin manifolds

Description
The low temperature regime of continuous spin models is discussed. The relevance of the weak coupling expansion for the calculation of invariant Green's functions is analyzed. Notably it is found that in two dimensions Green's functions of invariant operators cannot be computed perturbatively. (orig.)
