A brief introduction to infrared spectroscopy

After describing the function of the IR spectrophotometer and sample preparation, the problems of interpreting IR spectra are discussed.

Der vorliegende Bericht ist die überarbeitete Fassung eines Vortrages auf dem Abteilungsseminar Chemie am 29.11.72. Zunächst werden die theoretischen Grundlagen behandelt. Nach der Beschreibung der Funktion des IR-Spektralphotometers und der Probenvorbereitung wird über die Problematik der Interpretation von IR-Spektren berichtet.Files
