Kinetic description of the baryon subsystem of nuclear matter at intermediate energies

Description
A kinetic equation of the Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck type has been derived for a baryon subsystem of relativistic nuclear matter in terms of the nonequilibrium statistical operator method. Being obtained at minimal assumptions, this kinetic equation takes into account the main quantum relativistic effects inherent to the Walecka model: the baryon-antibaryon states, the spin and meson degrees of freedom, etc. This approach allows one to get some generalized forms of the simplest version of the Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck-type kinetic equations at different levels of complexity to be used in the relativistic nuclear physics at intermediate energies. 16 refs
