Effect of reduction temperature on surface state and catalytic activity of Pd-Tc-catalysts

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Fizicheskoj Khimii

Description

Compression study of surface state and activity of palladium-technetium catalysts reduced under different temperatures, is carried out. Maximal catalytic and adsorption activity is determined in catalysts reduced at 500 deg C. Using H2 thermodesorption spectra, diffusion reflection spectra in ultraviolet and visible ranges, electron microdiffraction it is shown, that the increased catalytic and adsorption activity is linked with formation of Tc, Pd, Pc-Pd metallic clusters. Modifying effect of metal ion forms on catalytic and adsorption properties is determined
