Device for absorption measurement of X-rays
Description
The device makes it possible to calculate the absorption of X-rays by the patient's head in the radiated layer by a matrix, using a computer. The intensity of radiation of two measuring units is used for this, one of which is at the entrance point of radiation in front of the head and the other one measures the radiation weakened by absorption by the head. Die Einrichtung erlaubt es, die Absorption der Roentgenstrahlung durch den Kopf des Patienten in der durchstrahlten Schicht matrixartig durch einen Rechner zu berechnen. Hierzu werden die Strahlungsintensitaeten zweier Messeinheiten benutzt, wovon eine vor dem Kopf im Strahlengang liegt und die andere die durch Absorption durch den Kopf geschwaechte Strahlung aufnimmt.
