Content and composition of free fatty acids in the sarcoplasmic reticulum membranes after the effect of ionizing radiation

  • 1. Kievskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Kiev (Ukraine)

Description

It was established that X-irradiation of rabbit limbs leads to increase of amount of fatty acids in the sarcoplastic reticulum membranes. The irradiation also resulted in decrease of fluorescence intensity of tryptophan radicals of Ca-AT phase. Extraction of free fatty acids from sarcoplasmic reticulum with albumin resulted into fluorescence recovery. It is known that Ca-AT phase - fatty acid complex, affecting fluorescence intensity, forms in result of lateral diffusion of fatty acids
