Results of treatment of radiation-induced skin lesions following therapeutic irradiation with phlogosam preparation
Description
A comprehensive treatment with samar with sulphosalicylic acid in form of ointment was used in patients with skin lesions following therapeutic irradiation. It was found that the preparation caused a quicker regression of radiation-induced lesions. In most cases a significant improvement was observed beginning 7 days after the onset of treatment. Radiation-induced skin lesions disappeared completely in 83% of cases after 4 weeks of treatment. (author)
