Fixed Regge singularities in exclusive pion photoproduction

Description
The quark-parton model and the dynamical picture underlying dimensional counting are used to calculate the fixed Regge singularities in exclusive pion photoproduction. The leading singularity occurs at j = max(-1,-γ), the model-dependent constant γ being constrained by γ > or = 1/2 and corresponding to an ambiguity in the way dimensional counting is realized. Methods for the experimental verification of fixed poles are discussed
