Seminar on economic viability of wind and solar energy for industrial use

  • 1. Industry Sub-Committee, Bombay Chamber, Bombay (India)

Description

While the viability of non conventional (renewable) energy usage has received a setback in 80's due to a drop in crude oil prices, developments in technology of these energy sources as well as India's own compulsions of import of petroleum products for other uses like transport would make it worthwhile to review and expedite commercial exploitation by industry, both for current needs and for the coming years.
