BaTi1-5xNb4xO3 solid solutions
Description
The structure and properties of solid solutions on the basis of BaTiO3, containing niobium, were studied. It is shown that solid solutions of BfTiO3-Ba5Nb4O15 cross section in ternary system BaO-TiO2-Nb2O5 with a blurred phase transition, strong concentrational dependence of the Curie point and a weak one for the Curie-Weiss constant (CCW) contain up to 26 at. % niobium. To explain peculiarities of CCW concentrational dependence a formula is suggested, that correlates CCW value with macroscopic polarizability of partides included in the compounds and its derivatives as to the volume and temperature determined by the character of chemical bonds
