The weight of the light

Description

The 1973 experiment at the MIT using the correlated photon emission to demonstrate the material existence of the photon is commented briefly. This discovery would seem to invalidate the expanding universe theory by explaining the recently observed anisotropy of Hubble's constant in terms of a slowing down of the photon interacting with matter. The red shift would be due to what Hubble had called a light fatigue

Abstract (French)

On commente rapidement l'experience de 1973 au M.I.T. utilisant l'emission de photons correles pour demontrer l'existence du photon c'est-a-dire sa materialite. Cette decouverte infirmerait la theorie de l'expansion de l'univers en expliquant l'anisotropie, recemment demontree, de la constante d'Hubble par un freinage du photon en interaction avec la matiere. Le deplacement vers le rouge serait du a ce que Hubble avait appele une fatigue de la lumiere
