The non-relativistic quark model for the M1 and E2 electromagnetic transition in the process Δ → Nγ

Description
The dependence between Δ resonance and nucleon deformation and the ratio of amplitudes E2/M1 in the reaction Δ → Nγ was found. The comparison of the obtained results with available experimental data indicates on the existence of static deformation in both baryons. 1 fig., 6 refs. (author)
