Description

With 12C ion (3.65 GeV/nucleon) and 16O (1.1 MeV/nucleon) irradiation taken as an example changes in performance of high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) bolometers with YBa2Cu3O7-x foils in strong ionizing radiation fields are investigated. 12C ion irradiation with intensities of about 103 ions/cm2xs gives rise to the temperature of the bolometer head only by ΔT=5x10-6 K and doesn't influence the noise level. Theoretical evaluation shows that to receive 10% change in sensitivity of the bolometer fluxes of 107-108 ions 12C/cm2xs are needed. Influence of the geometric features of the bolometer head on the level of heat induced in the device is studied. Irradiation with large doses (3.8x1012 ions 16O at 109 ions/cm2xs intensities) leaves to the fact that the performance of the bolometer is practically unchanges, while 1015 ions/cm2 dose results in absolute disruction of superconductive phase. 11 refs.; 10 figs.; 2 tabs
