The MUNU experiment

Description
We intend to build a low background detector based on a gas TPC to be installed near a nuclear reactor in Bugey for the experimental study of anti νee- scattering. The threshold on the electron recoil energy can be set very low, around 500keV, giving the experiment a good sensitivity to the magnetic moment of the anti νe, extending down to 2-3x10-11 Bohr magnetons.
