Valuing the benefits of environmental policy in the Netherlands

Description

The cost of the damage to ecosystems and public health in the Netherlands amounts to 40 billion Dutch guilders per year. By calculating the damage it can be made clear which subjects must be given priority in the environmental policy. The most important results of a study on this subject are discussed. 4 refs
