Plant for treating workpieces with powerful radiation
Description
The plant for wetting paint using electron beams has a series of chambers along a conveyor belt for accepting painted articles. In order to achieve a continuous process and to save nitrogen to be introduced into the chambers, the chamber are formed by containers open at the top, which are closed from an irradiation station by an endless belt or by a roller bed running synchronously with the containers. Die Anlage zum Vernetzen von Lacken mittels Elektronenstrahlen weist eine Reihe von laengs einer Foerderstrecke umlaufenden Kammern zur Aufnahme der lackierten Gegenstaende auf. Zur Erzielung eines kontinuierlichen Arbeitsverfahrens und zur Einsparung von in die Kammern einzuleitenden Stickstoffs werden die Kammern von oben offenen Behaeltern gebildet, die zumindest vor einer Bestrahlungsstation durch ein synchron mit den Behaeltern laufendes Endlosband oder ein Walzenbett verschlossen werden.
