Interaction of monophosphates with sulfur in the presence of oxygen during heating

Description

By the method of thermal analysis interaction of alkali metal (including cesium) monophosphates with elementary sulfur in the process of heating up to 1000 deg C in the presence of air oxygen has been investigated. It is ascertained that the reaction starts at the temperature exceeding 250-300 deg C, and includes sulfur oxidation to oxides and sulfates, interaction of oxides with monophosphates with the formation of diphosphates and polyphosphates
