The role of cements in radioactive waste immobilization: chemistry and physics
Description
The compatability of inorganic ion exchangers with glass and cementation waste forms and their suitability for kinetic and equilibrium studies and for providing information on containment, uptake and leaching in relation to waste-form studies and environmental considerations is discussed. The use of zeolites as models for testing ion exchange theories is presented. (UK)
