Incineration disposal of radioactive materials contaminated wastes. Problems and present status

Description
In relation to incineration disposal of radioactive wastes including thermal processes such as melting or fusion processes, the importance of three terms namely exploration of behavior of radioactive cesium, processing of exhaust gases, and accumulation of wastes on fireproof materials in the incineration reactors is explained. The related scientific information which has been collected by the author from the literature published since the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident in 2011 is presented. Particularly, as to the cesium behavior exploration and its accumulation mechanism, the equipment dependence of the facilities, experimental methods, and the model calculation were investigated to obtain the conclusions.
