Disposition of long-lived uranium chain alpha emitters following repeated inhalation exposures of beagle dogs to uranium ore and radon daughters

Description
Thorium-230 was found to separate readily in vivo from parent uranium, following long-term inhalation of carnotite uranium ore by beagle dogs. Thorium-230 should be considered as an individual hazard in uranium mining and milling operations. (U.S.)
