Crystal ad molecular structure of tetra technetium tricarbonyliodide [Tc(CO)3I]4

Description
X-ray investigation into [Tc(CO)3I]4 monocrystal was carried out. Crystals belong to monoclinic syngony, a=18.125 (12), b=9.741 (6), c=16.577 (9) A, β=118.50 (4) deg, V=2572 (3) A3, C2/c space group, Z=4, dded.=3.191 g/cm3, μ(MoKα)=67 cm-1. Single tetramerous molecules-[Tc(CO)3I]4, characterized by cube-shaped structure form the crystal structure. Tc(CO)3 fragments are linked between one another by iodide cross-linkages. 5 refs., 2 figs., 3 tabs
