Decreasing alpha particles orbit deflection in thermonuclear reactor with the l = 3 helical winding
Description
The α-particles trajectory in the magnetic system of the reactor size with the l = 3 screw helical winding and additional current winding, creating vertical magnetic field, is studied. It is shown that by selection of the vertical magnetic field value and sign it is possible to decrease the deflection of the negative and positive drift particles relative to the vacuum magnetic surfaces. It is shown that under the same conditions the deflections of the closed α-particles also decrease
