Description

A crossing symmetric description of the γγ production of ρ0ρ0 and other vector meson pairs is formulated. The authors use light cone extension of the Yennie shrinking photon slope parameterization of electroproduction and threshold photoproduction which interpolates between QCD pointlike behavior and VMD. The model predicts a flat cosΘCM production distribution near threshold for γγ → ρ0ρ0. The distribution becomes forward peaked as Wγγ increases
