Creators

Description
This paper describes the many features of mass ejection from the free surface including: the bulk nature of the sample; the state and geometrical aspect of the surface; and the level and profile of the incident shock. This paper examines the research of various diagnostic techniques and selects those results which deal with the ejection from pure metallic samples carefully prepared in order to ensure bulk-state homogeneity and geometrically well-defined free surface
