Angular correlation between light particles and reaction fragments in peripheral heavy-ion collisions
Description
A theoretical model which describes in a single picture the evaporation component and the nonequilibrium component of the reaction fragment-light-particle angular correlation is discussed. Physical interpretations of some analytic results are presented. The few parameters contained in closed semi-classical expressions obtained for the in-plane differential multiplicities are connected, in an explicit manner, to the mechanism of the process considered. As an example, the application to the in-plane C-α differential multiplicity from the 16O(101 MeV)+48Ti deeply inelastic collision is quoted
