Equilibrium and pre-equilibrium emissions in proton-induced reactions on 232Th

Description
In this study, the excitation functions for the reactions 232Th(p,n)232Pa, 232Th(p,2n)231Pa, 232Th(p,3n)230Pa, 232Th(p,6n)227Pa, 232Th(p,7n)226Pa were calculated using pre-equilibrium and equilibrium reaction mechanisms. The pre-equilibrium calculations were calculated by using the hybrid model, the geometry dependent hybrid model, the full exciton model and the cascade exciton model. The reaction equilibrium component was calculated with a traditional compound nucleus model developed by Weisskopf-Ewing. Calculation results have been discussed and compared with the available experimental data in literature.
