The scopes of the use of ion-exchange chromatography for the isolation and study of physicochemical properties of distant TPE
Creators
Description
Advantages of application of chromatographic methods for isolation and study of physicochemical properties of TPE with Z>100 were shown. Possibilities of the development of new highly effective methods of TPE ion-exchange separation in different oxidation states are considered with regard to factors, stabilizing instable valency forms: oxidizer (reducer) nature, presence of a strong complexing agent, solvent nature, etc. Cation-exchange systems of Ku(4) isolation from trivalent TPE and rare earths with high purification factors in the mode of continuous isolation are suggested, using isolation of Zr or Hf, as Ku analogues, from Cf and Eu as an example. Possibilities of investigation of physicochemical properties of far TPE, identification of valency states, evaluation of ionic radii, etc. are shown, using as an example the study of Md(2) and analogue element ion-exchange behaviour by chromatographic method
